Dairy Free Banana Green Tea Ice Cream
This recipe has been tried and tested and recently shared from Body Science, using just 2 ingredients it’s dairy free, delicious and down right addictive.
I’m dairy free and try to stay away from Soy, so powders like Matcha green tea, maca, coconut powder and other super foods are excellent options to blend into smoothies, bliss balls and frozen deserts for some added nutritional and taste factors.
Try this one at home!
Ingredients: 3 large frozen bananas & 2 tsp. matcha green tea powder – that’s it!
Directions: 3 Simple Steps
1. Cut up Bananas into chunks and place in freezer until frozen.
2. Place banana chunks into a food processor and turn machine on. Let the motor run until the bananas have a super creamy texture, just like soft serve ice cream. Be patient as this may take a while, especially if you don’t have a high powered machine.
3. When bananas are creamy, add matcha powder and blend until a smooth consistent texture forms.
Pour the finished mix into a freezer proof container and pop into the freezer! Done 🙂 This is a great new addition to your smoothies too.
