Rather than just going into the gym or the class doing the same things on autopilot, ask yourself:
- Am I doing this with perfect technique?
- Could I replicate this at home without my trainer or coach?
- Am I learning as I go to be independent at quality control on my exercises?
The answer should be yes to all three.
